 Mountaineering is a unique, compelling and inspirational activity that provides physical, mental and psychological challenge, and at the same time offers the potential for huge personal satisfaction and reward. Whether on a low-level hill-walk, a mountain ridge or an extreme rock climb, mountaineering always has been and always will remain an adventurous activity. Consequently there will sometimes be a disparity between the risks, challenges and rewards sought, and those that are found. At Hightimes we provide tuition that encapsulates the nature of the activity in a safe and developmental learning atmosphere. |

We offer discussion and advice about becoming independent mountaineers, or about pushing your current levels of adventure up a notch or two. We offer advice on how to set your own goals, manage risks, think clearly and make good decisions. |
 For those wishing to try an activity for the first time, we offer sessions that are geared towards experiencing the activity itself, as opposed to 'learning the ropes’. |
